well this puts things into perspective now doesn’t it.
"Well the rich just work harder. You could be rich too if you weren’t so lazy." I’m so mad this is our reality.
At the same time, it’s not like the CEO just magically gets that job. They either created the company and struggled through years of marketing to get their company to where it is now, or they worked their asses off to get through the ranks. They don’t just poof into the head position. It’s earned and worked for, too. You can’t always shame people who make more money and say that people who don’t make as much work harder. I know for a fact that my dad, who has a nice paying job, works his ass off. He worked from a sales clerk at Nordstrom and just kept working to get promoted and finally landed himself a high ranking position. So, yes, sometimes I think the pay rate is horrible, but I also know that you have to work your ass off to get a higher job. Stop shaming people that work just as hard in a high ranking job by saying they are unfair and don’t do shit to get there while people who have lower ranking jobs have people who work waaayy harder because thats just not true at all.
you need to shut the fuck. the pay in 2014 fpor a ceo is 300 times more than the typical ceo made in 1060. its not fair.
Sir Nicholas Winton is a humanitarian who organized a rescue operation that saved the lives of 669 Jewish Czechoslovakia children from Nazi death camps, and brought them to the safety of Great Britain between the years 1938-1939.
After the war, his efforts remained unknown. But in 1988, Winton’s wife Grete found the scrapbook from 1939 with the complete list of children’s names and photos. Sir Nicholas Winton is sitting in an audience of Jewish Czechoslovakian people who he saved 50 years before.
